Help with diagnosis, cant get into doctors for a week?

You may have mono.... I'm not a doctor of course, but I had it once. My lymph nodes in my neck were swollen... you get really tired with mono... it's not always about sleeping either, you just feel like you can't do anything. It hurt to move even my eyes (but that may not be your symptom). One thing you should try to do is to look in a mirror, open your mouth as wide as you can an then try to see if there are any white spots in your throat. You could also just have strep. Mono and strep have similar symptoms, but the lethargy is mostly ociated with mono. I also lost about 25 pounds when I had mono because I also couldn't eat. Drink lots of liquids and sleep when you can. Don't over-do activities.
