Too quiet and the true story... help me guys!!?

right this is quite complicated so bare with me. i am a 16 year old boy and I have just recently left school and it is now completely finished. I am very quiet and I have nobody from the school or the local area that I can call a "friend".Most break and lunch times i was lucky enough to pretty much hide away by football.I would not say I get bullied but have been a little bit intimidated and picked on in my younger years like when i was 8 and 9, and was once `happy slapped` in the school corridor a couple of years ago by an older person than me. I would say really the area that i live in is fairly pleasant and not much trouble at all. I would also say that i am fairly like by people from the fact that firstly i'm good at athletics so i helped alot on sportsday and stuff, and that i am not hated by people because some do try and talk to me and say hi, but i failed overall really taking advanteage of that by not responding well enough because i'm afraid to make a complete fool of myself
