60% of evangelicals say "bible should over-ride the will of US citizens for making laws"?

Its clear that when biblical values were taken out of society, that crime, divorce, marriages out of wed lock, , child abuse, extramarital affairs and a score of other social concerns increased dramaticaly and continue to rise to this day. With out an absolute truth to hold fast to, truth becomes relative to the situation, or a persons own desires, no matter how wrong they might be whether speaking from a believers viewpoint or from a simple knowledge of right and wrong which most poeple grasp. You don't have to be a believer to believe in whats right. And don't for get, that the laws for separation of church and state were implemented by a bible believing government majority that wanted to protect the church from state interference(as was the case in the England monarchy they fled for religios freedom), Not the state from church influence.
