Was this my period early, i am due on this weekend, fingers crossed for my xmas BFP!?

i have been TTC for about 7 months, we were hoping this month is our months, fingers crossed!! i am, due my period between xmas day and new year (wow this weekend, how time flies!) so i was going to test around then, if it was pos itd be a great prezzie hehe. anyway i started spotting on the 19th just brown discharge it turned a little bit darker on the 20th then started getting lighter and lighter until it just turned into discharge by the 22nd and now its gone, so 3days! there was not even one streak of blood in it, if it was my period its usually really heavy and bright red and lasts 5-6days, i had period style cramps at the begining of the week aswell, we are TTC and i finished my period on 30th nov, we have been BD'ing since then!! was this my period do you think?? i will go to the docs but its hard to get an app during the festive period lol xx
